How Do I Catalogue My Own Videos Using SmartSuite - Storage?

1st Step: Uploading the File to SmartStorage

1. Click -> Catalogue -> File Upload

2. On the left pane, click the Yellow Folder with your name

3. Click +New Folder 

4. In the:

          - Folder Name field, type: Uploaded Videos 

          - Folder Security field, type: 0

5. Click .

6. Double-click the Uploaded Videos folder.

7. Click Upload File and select the video you want to upload from your computer.

N.B. Ensure your window remains open to ensure the upload is successful.

8. Once the file has been uploaded, right-click on the file.

9. Select Share.

10. Copy the URL.

2nd Step: Creating a Catalogue Record

1. Click  -> Catalogue -> Catalogue.

2. From the toolbar at the bottom of the window, click the up arrow on the New button.

3. Select New Title from the options.

4. Enter a name for your record in the Title field.

5. Select a Media type for your record.

5. Click the URL tab.

6. Paste the URL that we copied from File Upload into the URL field.

7. Enter the description you would like your users to see into the Description field.

8. Click .
