The CBCA 2021 Book Week is upon us. This years’ theme of “Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds”, evokes thoughts of ancient times, futuristic realities and alien or fantasy lands.

With Lock downs bearing down on us this year's book week might be different for some. So we have put some ideas together that might help inspire you whether you are in your library or not.
Ideas for promoting 2021 Book Week.
1. Transforming your Library
This can be daunting for some but Heidi Overbye's blog from Modern Teaching Aids has a great list of things you can do in your library.
2. COSTUMES!
Everybody loves dressing up and teleporting themselves to a make-belief world. The team at Families Magazine have put together a list of easy costume ideas.
3. Activities
Story Box has designed classroom-ready activities for both digital and print formats and is designed to be used independently by students. You can check them out here.

4. Your School's collection.
