Enabling "Item Override" for a Specific Catalogue Record

Item Override will ignore any borrowing parameters assigned directly to users at circulation and will instead, only use the borrowing parameters assigned to the catalogued items.

This is useful if you have items such as 'Laptops' that you wish to have a longer loan period than a standard 2-week book loan.  

1. Click ->Catalogue ->Catalogue.

2. Find the title in question by clicking  from the toolbar at the bottom of the window. 

3. Click the  tab.

4. Expand the copy you wish to enable "Item Override" against by clicking the  icon to the left of the copy.

5. Enable Override.

6. Click  in the toolbar at the bottom of the window. 

N.B. If you are wanting to enable "Item Override" for multiple copies, this can be actioned through the Global Functions tool.
