Overview
Smart Patron Import allows the system administrators to bulk import patrons into SmartSuite. Once an import has finished, any new patrons will be inserted and any existing users will have any changes updated in the system.
Prerequisites for Smart Patron Import
Before attempting to perform a patron import, you will first need to ensure you have acquired a CSV file with your patron information.
At a minimum, your file should contain:
- First Name
- Surname
- Barcode (If applicable)
- E-mail (mandatory for staff import)
- Student ID (For linking purposes)
- Homeroom
- Classification
Please note, you can include any other information that you would like to import into SmartSuite.
