This article will detail how to view a patron's details in SmartSuite. This covers a Patrons':

NOTE: Only users with Administrator & Librarian roles can access Patron details in Patron Management.
Select and then Patron > Patron Management.
To find the patron you are looking for, select from the bottom bar. Input the Patron's name in the search bar and select the patron you are looking for.
This will land you on the Patron's Login tab which displays their patron details.
Barcode
The first part of the Patron's login page is their barcode. This is the strongest point of identity that a Patron has in SmartSuite, and is used in Circulation to loan out and return items.
A patron's barcode is a unique series of numbers and/or letters. In school's this is usually the student ID number.
Username
The patron's username is what patron's use to log into SmartSuite. This can be an email address or a combination of letters & numbers.
Firstname & Surname
A patron's Firstname and Surname is what the patron is recognizable as. This name will appear on all reports & loans.
A patron's email can be used as their username. This is also where all Login and Overdue emails will be sent to.
Security
Patron's security determines what a Patron has access to in TV4Education. Click here for more information on Patron Security. Generally student's security levels correlate with their year level.
Classgrade
A patron's Classgrade is an indicator of which year level they are in. Classgrades dictate the loan limits of a student, and their security clearance.
Homeroom
A patron's Homeroom can be used to identify patrons within their Classgrade. This is a often a Home Class, Form Class or other distinctive group for patrons. Knowing a patron's Homeroom is helpful when running reports.
Role
A patron's Role indicates the level of access and authority they have in SmartSuite.

Loan Details
You can see a Patron's loan details on the right panel of their Login tab. This indicates how many items a patron has on loan, overdue and reserved. You can also run a report in this panel by choosing a report from the drop-down bar and selecting .
Change Password on Next Login
This button, when set to 'Yes' will trigger an option for the patron to change their password on their next login. To change this, you must manually change this button to 'No'.
Note: As long as this button is set to 'Yes', the patron will have to change their password on each login.
Locked
Selecting 'Yes' to this setting will lock the patron's profile. This means any adjustments or alterations made to the patron will not save, even if you select .
