SmartSuite now supports sending communication directly via SMS, allowing libraries and administrators to engage users instantly and securely.
This feature is perfect for verifying borrower registrations and, in the near future, will extend to automated alerts for loans, overdues, and reservations — ensuring your borrowers never miss an important update.

💰 Billing and Package Options
SmartSuite SMS Packages are charged monthly and provide full flexibility:
Packages can be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled at the end of any monthly billing cycle.
This allows you to control expenditure and scale usage as your library’s needs change.
Unused SMS credits do not roll over to the next month.
🪜 How to Set Up Your SMS Package
Step 1: Log in to SmartSuite as an Administrator.
Step 2: Navigate to Menu → Settings → System Settings.
Step 3: Select the “SMS” tab.
Step 4: Expand the “SMS Package and Status” section.
Step 5: Choose your preferred monthly SMS package and click Next.
Step 6: Enter your billing details and click Proceed to Payment.
Step 7: Enter your payment details and click Checkout.
Step 8: Once payment is successful, you’ll see a confirmation message — your SmartSuite instance is now connected to SMS alerts.
📊 Managing Your SMS Quota
At any time, you can return to the SMS Package and Status section to:
View your used quota
Check your remaining SMS balance for the month
Manage your package level or billing settings

To ensure smooth setup and delivery:
Verify your billing email is current and accessible.
Use the Self-Registration Form to test your first SMS validation code.
Plan your package size based on your expected volume of borrower registrations.
