Adding TV4Education programs to your Schools Collection provides you with many benefits:
- As a library cataloguer, you have autonomy to modify the record as you see fit for your clientele
- Videos will appear amongst books within your collection
- External Links will show books and videos on the landing page (without users having to click additional data sources)
N.B. This function can only be performed by a user with the following user roles
- Cataloguer
- Librarian
- Administrator
Process:
1) Log into SmartSuite (TV4Education) with an account with one of the 3x user roles listed above
2) Navigate to the TV4Education page (Click -> Search -> SmartSearch when it loads, click the
tab)
3) Search for the video you would like to add to your Schools Collection and click the icon that appears at the bottom of the search result
4) SmartSuite will take sometimes up to 10-seconds to catalogue the resource for you, however you will receive a confirmation message once it's been completed. - You will then be able to open your Catalogue or Schools Collection and view the item that was catalogued from TV4Education.
