When you have configured the conditions of your Function, select from the bottom bar. This will trigger a search for data based on your function's conditions, and display these items as a concise list.
Make sure you review this list and confirm that these results are what you're after. If not, you will need to go back and adjust the conditions of your Function.
NOTE: SmartSuite will assume you want to make changes to all items on the list. If you only want to change a select few, you need to tick which items you want to change.

The Function Change window is where we configure our change equation. There are 3 main drop down bars we need to configure in order to do this.
1. The first drop down bar is where we choose what we want to change.
2. The second drop down bar specifies the kind of change we want to perform.
Overwrite = Change to
Append = Add on
Remove = Delete or Remove (not used for deleting patrons)
NOTE: These options will change depending on what you select from your first drop down menu.
3. The third drop down bar describes the outcome of our change.
For example, if I want to change the loan type of items to Fortnightly, I would build the following equation: Loan Type | Overwrite | Fortnightly
