This article will detail how to:
- Create a new copy status & adjust copy availability
- Change an item's copy status through Global Functions & Catalogue
Creating a new Copy Status & adjusting copy availability
- Head to System Menu > Configuration > Authority Editor
2. Select Copy Status from the drop-down menu
3. Type in the name of your new copy status along the blank line and select the + icon.
4. If you want items with this copy status to show as unavailable in the search function, you can un-tick the 'is available' option.
= Unavailable
= Available
If an item is unavailable, it will appear in search as greyed out and will trigger a warning if someone is attempting to circulate the item.

Changing an item's copy status

Catalogue (individual changes)
- Find your item in Catalogue.
- Head to the Copy tab and find the item's Copy Status.
3. Click on the Copy Status field and choose your copy status from the drop-down options.
4. Make sure you save your changes!
